Have you ever wondered if your biggest putting issues are the same for all amateur golfers or is it just you? Does everyone miss short? And what makes those single handicap golfers so good at sinking putts and avoiding 3-putting?
What do really good putters do that we don’t? If we did the same on the greens, would we improve too? And is there a secret formula to taking less ‘putts per round’? If so, where can we find it? The wait may be over.
On a mission
The PuttBANDIT team are on a mission to find out how UK golfers go about their putting in a series of online surveys. Over 800 golfers took part in our first survey to discover the top putting issues and the next survey on green reading has just been launched.
Better putting secrets and myths
The survey answers will help us understand the most common putting issues experienced by UK golfers and reveal the variety of putting methods, routines and techniques that low, mid and high handicappers use and the potential for lower scores. And the data analysis should provide insights to help golfers of different skill levels understand how to fix problems, improve performance and uncover the secrets and myths of better putting.
The UK Putting Survey, will run through Autumn with the full report available before the end of the year.
